Tampa, FL – February 2026 – In response to rapid growth and increasing demand, West Tampa Tobacco Company has expanded its sales team in its home state by adding a second dedicated representative for Florida.

West Tampa Tobacco Co. is thrilled to welcome Gabe Gonzalez to the team as Florida Territory Account Manager!

While new to the cigar industry, Gabe brings a deep, lifelong passion for premium cigars and the community they foster. “I’ve always enjoyed quality cigars, but what truly draws me in is the way they bring people together—sparking conversations, building connections, and creating community,” said Gonzalez. “I’m excited to be part of an industry that values those relationships.”

Co-owner Rick Rodriguez added, “The incredible support we’ve received from customers worldwide—and especially here in Florida—has been overwhelming. To best serve our growing base of retailers and enthusiasts, we knew it was time to strengthen our presence in the state.”

Missy Christensen, a founding member of the team since day one, will continue covering the Atlantic Coast, Southwest U.S., and key national accounts.

Gabe will be based in Port Richey, Florida, and will focus on managing Southern Florida and the Gulf Coast regions. Beyond his enthusiasm for cigars, Gabe is an accomplished recording artist and music engineer, bringing creativity, discipline, and a passion for self-expression to his new role.
