Old Man & C Monster
Tatuaje is preparing to ship its latest limited-edition release, Old Man and the C Monster, to retailers beginning next week.
First shown at the 2026 PCA Convention, the release combines Tatuaje’s familiar Old Man and the C presentation with the company’s Creature blend. Each coffin contains a 7 x 44 Lonsdale along with a matching Culebra, both featuring an all-Nicaraguan blend.
The Creature Returns
The Creature blend first joined Tatuaje’s Monster Series in 2021 as part of the Monster Mash sampler. It later returned in a different format in the Monster Smash sampler in 2024.
Earlier this year, Tatuaje also released the Creature as a full-sized 6 7/8 x 52 limited edition.
The blend is a Nicaraguan puro, using Nicaraguan tobacco for the wrapper, binder and filler.
Revisiting Old Man and the C
The Old Man and the C concept dates back to 2011, when Tatuaje paired an El Triunfador Culebra with a Lancero. Both cigars measured 7 1/2 x 38 and were packaged together in a hinged coffin-style box.
The concept later returned using both Tatuaje Black Label and Fausto blends.
For Old Man and the C Monster, Tatuaje has increased the ring gauge, producing the cigars in a larger 7 x 44 format while using the Creature blend.

Production is limited to 1,300 cabinet boxes worldwide, with each cabinet containing six coffins.
That works out to just 7,800 coffins worldwide, making Old Man and the C Monster another relatively small-production release from Tatuaje.
The cigars will be allocated to qualifying retailers through Tatuaje sales representatives, with shipments expected to begin next week.
