Jason Redux 6
Tatuaje is bringing Jason back for Halloween, with the sixth release in its Monster Redux Series scheduled to begin shipping to select retailers in early October.
Tatuaje Cigars has announced that the Tatuaje Monster Jason Redux 6 will begin shipping soon, bringing back the sixth cigar from the company's iconic Monster Series.
The Jason Redux 6 measures 7 1/2 x 52 and features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Production took place at My Father Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The cigar carries an MSRP of $13 per cigar and will be packaged in the Redux Series' distinctive coffin-style cabinet boxes containing 13 cigars.
65,000 Cigars Produced
Tatuaje produced 5,000 boxes of 13 cigars, for a total production run of 65,000 cigars.
Of those boxes, 4,300 will feature the standard coffin-style presentation, while another 700 special boxes were produced.
Among those 700 boxes, 666 are sequentially numbered, continuing the Monster Series' longtime connection to the number 666. The remaining special boxes are marked “XX” and are typically reserved by Tatuaje for special occasions.
Jason Returns
The cigar revisits Tatuaje's original Jason, also known as the JV13, which debuted in 2013 as the sixth installment in the company's annual Monster Series.
The Monster Series began in 2008 with The Frank and became an annual Halloween tradition for Tatuaje, with each cigar drawing inspiration from classic horror characters.
Jason's inspiration comes from Jason Voorhees of the Friday the 13th franchise, making the cigar one of the most recognizable entries in the Monster lineup.
Tatuaje's Redux program has been revisiting the original Monster releases in their original-style vitolas, giving smokers another opportunity to experience cigars that have been unavailable for years.
Coming in Early October
The Tatuaje Monster Jason Redux 6 is allocated to select Tatuaje retailers and is expected to begin shipping in early October 2026.
