Powstanie Cigars is marking one of the most significant milestones in American history with the release of the 250th American Anniversary War Bear, a special commemorative edition honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Rather than creating an entirely new blend, Powstanie has chosen to revisit one of its most celebrated recent releases. Inside the commemorative packaging is the same blend that made the 2025 War Bear a standout among cigar enthusiasts, giving fans another opportunity to experience the cigar while owning a unique collector's item.
The 250th American Anniversary War Bear is a substantial 5 5/8 x 60 Perfecto featuring an eye-catching barber pole wrapper composed of Ecuadorian Habano and Mexican San Andrés leaves. Beneath the wrapper is an Indonesian binder surrounding a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Production takes place at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Nicaragua.
What truly separates this release from the original War Bear is its presentation. Each box is housed inside a commemorative metal shell finished with a natural Cerakote coating. Because of the nature of the finish, every box will feature its own unique pattern, making each one a one-of-a-kind collector's piece. The original War Bear band remains intact, preserving the identity of the cigar while elevating the overall presentation.
Powstanie is limiting production to just 250 boxes worldwide, with each box containing eight cigars, resulting in a total production run of only 2,000 cigars. The suggested retail price is set at $250 per box, making this one of the most exclusive releases in the company's history.
