Miles Davis “Milestones” Cigar
Ferio Tego is joining the official celebration of the Miles Davis Centennial with the release of Ferio Tego Milestones, a limited-edition premium cigar created in collaboration with the Miles Davis Estate and independent music company Reservoir.
The release honors 100 years since the birth of Miles Davis, one of the most influential musicians and creative figures of the modern era.
Ferio Tego Milestones takes its name from both the landmark 1958 Miles Davis album Milestones and its title track, while also tying into the idea of cigars being part of life’s meaningful celebrations.
The cigar is a 6 x 50 Toro produced in Honduras by Agroindustrias. The blend features an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper, a Honduran binder, and filler tobaccos from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
Ferio Tego co-owner and blender Michael Herklots said the cigar was designed to reflect many of the same characteristics he admires in Davis’ music, including sophistication, structure, nuance, expression, restraint, and depth.
Herklots has a personal connection to Davis’ music as well. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Drum Set Performance, he studied and performed the music of Miles Davis throughout his education and played in Berklee’s Miles Davis Ensemble.

Ferio Tego Milestones will be offered in 10-count boxes featuring the iconic silhouette of Miles Davis on the lid.
Each box includes one of four commemorative 5 x 7 reproductions of original Miles Davis sketches, highlighting another side of Davis’ creativity beyond his legendary career in music.

Only 400 boxes of each sketch edition were produced, resulting in a total production of 1,600 boxes.
Retailers will receive the cigars in complete four-box sets containing one box from each sketch edition.
Each box also includes a QR code linking to a specially curated Miles Davis playlist assembled by Herklots, Reservoir, and the Miles Davis Estate, giving cigar smokers a soundtrack designed to accompany the experience.
Limited Production
Ferio Tego Milestones carries a suggested retail price of $185 per 10-count box, before applicable taxes.
With only 1,600 boxes produced, the release is expected to appeal to both cigar collectors and Miles Davis fans, particularly with the inclusion of Davis’ original artwork and the four different collectible box editions.
Ferio Tego Milestones is shipping to retailers now and is distributed in the United States by Davidoff of Geneva USA.
The Miles Davis Estate said the collaboration reflects Davis’ belief that great art should continue to inspire new ideas and leave a lasting impression.
For Ferio Tego, the release also draws a connection between two worlds that have long shared an appreciation for craftsmanship, creativity, and community: jazz and premium cigars.
