Crowned Heads Reunites with My Father Cigars for "Moonflower," First New Regular Production Collaboration in Over a Decade
NASHVILLE, TN — Crowned Heads, the premium cigar brand celebrated for its artisanal quality and narrative-driven blends, is proud to announce the debut of Moonflower. This landmark release represents the first all-new, regular production brand developed in partnership with the Garcia family and My Father Cigars in over ten years.
Moonflower will make its global debut at the 2026 PCA Convention and Trade Show in New Orleans, held April 17–20.
A Decade in the Making
The release marks a significant milestone in the enduring relationship between Crowned Heads and the Garcia family. My Father Cigars’ Nicaraguan factory is the birthplace of Crowned Heads' most iconic lines, including Las Calaveras, Jericho Hill, and Tennessee Waltz.
"Moonflower is more than just a new blend; it’s a celebration of partnership and tradition," says Jon Huber, President of Crowned Heads. "It holds a deeply personal symbolic meaning to me. We’ve poured everything into creating a cigar that delivers the complexity, balance, and 'wow' factor our supporters expect."
The Blend & Profile
Inspired by the nocturnal beauty of the moonflower plant, which blooms only under the stars, this Nicaraguan puro is designed to "blossom" on the palate.
Wrapper: Dark Corojo
Binder: Double Binder (Estelí & Jalapa)
Filler: A three-region blend (Estelí, Jalapa, & Condega)
The experience begins with a bold core of white pepper and spice, transitioning into a medium-plus profile of cream, cedar, and nuts. The smoke concludes with a distinctively clean, mint-like finish.
