CROWNED HEADS EXPANDS BLOOD MEDICINE B-POSITIVE LIMITED EDITION FOR 2026

Mar 11, 2026

BLOOD MEDICINE B-POSITIVE

After debuting the Blood Medicine B-Positive as a limited, single-vitola release in 2025, Crowned Heads has announced that the line will return in 2026 with an expanded format. The company plans to release the blend in three vitolas, giving smokers more options while maintaining the fuller, richer profile that distinguished the original release.

The B-Positive builds on the foundation of the Blood Medicine line—named after a historic Nashville pharmacy slogan—but swaps the original Ecuadorian Habano wrapper for a Nicaraguan Corojo leaf. The blend uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed binder over Nicaraguan fillers. According to the company, the change results in a darker, more robust flavor profile with notes of dark cocoa, espresso, leather and earth.

“B-Positive began as an experiment to push the Blood Medicine blend into darker, meatier territory,” said Jon Huber, co-founder and president of Crowned Heads. “The response to the initial Toro release in 2025 was overwhelming, and expanding the line to three sizes allows more smokers to experience the blend in different formats.”

The cigars are produced at the TacaNicsa Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua under the supervision of Eradio Pichardo. Production for the Blood Medicine B-Positive LE 2026 is limited to 800 boxes of 21 cigars per size.

The three vitolas are:

  • 5 x 52 — $11.50 per cigar

  • 5 1/2 x 56 — $12.50 per cigar

  • 6 x 54 — $13.50 per cigar

Shipping is expected to begin later this month.
