Supreme Leaf Worldwide
Aganorsa Leaf is taking Supreme Leaf worldwide, but cigar smokers outside the United States will not simply be getting the same Supreme Leaf blend currently found on American shelves.
During InterTabac 2026 in Dortmund, Germany, Aganorsa Leaf provided additional details about its new Supreme Leaf World Wide, revealing that the cigar has been intentionally blended with a different strength profile for international markets.
According to Cigar Journal, Fabien Ziegler, Aganorsa Leaf's Sales Manager and Business Development representative, explained that while the American Supreme Leaf has been well received for its fuller-bodied profile, the international version was developed to offer substantial flavor and complexity at a mild-to-medium intensity.
Ziegler told Cigar Journal that Aganorsa had specifically reduced the body of Supreme Leaf to better suit European preferences.
That makes Supreme Leaf World Wide more than simply an export version of the cigar familiar to American smokers.
A Different Approach to Supreme Leaf
In the United States, Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf has become known for its bold presentation and Corojo-forward character.
Aganorsa describes the domestic Supreme Leaf as a Nicaraguan puro featuring Aganorsa Corojo '99 wrapper tobacco along with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The company says the cigar's colorful packaging reflects the intense Corojo-dominated flavors and aromas of the blend.
Supreme Leaf World Wide maintains the Nicaraguan foundation.
The international cigar is produced entirely with Nicaraguan tobacco grown on Aganorsa's own farms, but the blend has been adjusted to provide a more restrained intensity while maintaining the flavor and complexity associated with Aganorsa tobacco. The International blend incorporates a higher proportion of Estelí Criollo '98 filler alongside the Corojo '99.
Aganorsa's vertically integrated approach is an important part of the company's identity. The company states that it manages its tobacco production from seed through the finished cigar and operates its own tobacco-growing operations in Nicaragua.
Two Sizes Coming in November
Supreme Leaf World Wide is scheduled to begin arriving in Aganorsa Leaf's international markets in November 2026.
Two vitolas have been announced:
Robusto
4 7/8 x 50
124 mm x 50
Cañonazo
5 7/8 x 52
150 mm x 52
Both sizes will feature the newly developed international Supreme Leaf blend.
Supreme Leaf Becomes a Global Brand
The move is an interesting evolution for Supreme Leaf.
Rather than assuming cigar smokers in every market are looking for the same experience, Aganorsa Leaf has chosen to adapt one of its recognizable brands specifically for international consumers.
For U.S. Supreme Leaf fans, that also creates an intriguing comparison.
The American Supreme Leaf remains the fuller-bodied, Corojo-driven expression that helped establish the line, while Supreme Leaf World Wide appears designed to showcase Aganorsa tobacco through a slightly softer lens.
Same Supreme Leaf family. Same Nicaraguan roots.
But intentionally, not quite the same cigar.
